Such an overdue post lol. Let me tell you a little about how my birthday usually works. Every year I would take off a week from work and each day I would be plan to go on silly adventures and super cute non-romantic dates with my friends and family. Well this year, I couldn't really do that because work got me on a leash for the whole summer. Honestly, I didn't really mind because with everything else I'm stressing over, my free time would be needed for something more important anyway like cleaning my apartment or updating this site or catching up with paperwork for the hotel. Although, I did have a short list of people who I wanted to spend time with and I would have been completely fine with that. Which I got. Really, some people still went out of their way to make up for the week I lost lol. My friends are amazing, I swear. Friday through Sunday night couldn't have been more perfect. I guess that's how it is when you get older. The fancy goes away and the more practical way of doing things seems to be more feasable.
